Three jailed for pensioner attack

77-year is still suffering

A pensioner's still receiving treatment for a fractured eye socket he suffered in an attack in his Shropshire home last year.

77-year old John Savage from Loppington in Wem was beaten up last year by three men aged between 18 and 21 - he suffered head and facial injuries, as well as a fractured eye socket which is still causing him problems.

They were sentenced to a total of close to 23 years.
