PDC Grand Slam of Darts Wolverhampton
The PDC Grand Slam of Darts returns to Wolverhampton!
The world’s best darts stars are coming to Aldersley Leisure Village from the 9th to the 17th November. The 32-player Grand Slam of Darts, televised live on Sky Sports, sees stars from the Professional Darts Corporation system clash with counterparts from the British Darts Organisation circuit.
Reigning champion Michael van Gerwen will headline the field of stars competing in the Sky Sports-televised spectacle, alongside PDC World Champion Rob Cross and BDO Lakeside Champion Glen Durrant.
This year's event will see Gerwyn Price defending the title he claimed last November following a controversial final against Gary Anderson, who is also set to be in action in Wolverhampton.
In addition, World Championship finalist Michael Smith, former Grand Slam runner-up James Wade, 2018 World Champion Rob Cross and German youngster Martin Schindler are also set to compete on the Grand Slam of Darts stage.
Further PDC players can qualify by reaching the finals of televised tournaments in the coming months, including at the Premier League - which is currently in action on Thursday nights ahead of May's Play-Offs - and the forthcoming World Cup, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and European Championship.
The Sunday sessions run from 1pm to 5pm (doors open 12pm) and 7pm to 11pm (doors open 6pm), with the weekday sessions on from 7pm to 11pm (doors open 6pm).
