Keep the kids busy on the last weekend of the summer holidays at Wolverhampton’s FREE Seaside in the City event from Friday 30th August until Sunday 1st September. 10am to 4pm.

Queen Square will be transformed into the seaside with a huge city centre beach surrounded by deckchairs for all the family to enjoy. A giant deckchair provides the perfect photo opportunity.

Friday

The giant beach will be open from 10am right through to 4pm. Get your child's face painted for free and enjoy free Harry Jones Fun Fair rides! What more could you ask for? Oh I know, how about a chance to have your photo taken with a big cute teddy bear and bunny rabbit throughout the day!

Saturday

For lovers of a traditional seaside fun fair, visitors can enjoy a go on Hook a Duck and Feed the Clown and try their luck to win a prize! Children and big kids will be entertained by Punch and Judy Shows and Circus Skills workshops running throughout the day on Queen Square. Little visitors can enjoy an array of free fun activities including a children's games area that includes, snakes & ladders, OXO and Connect 4 to keep them entertained.

The Signal 107 team will also be there all day on Saturday with feel good summer tunes to get you into the seaside spirit.

Sunday

Once again, the giant beach will be open from 10am right through to 4pm. Get your child's face painted for free and enjoy free fair rides! What more could you ask for? Oh I know, how about a chance to make a free Sand Bracelet at our seaside craft workshop area (whilst stock lasts)
