Shotgun cartridges found dumped in Craven Arms

Staff at waste disposal site call Police after shotgun cartridges & bullets found

Just before midday on Friday the 10th of May 2019, Police received a telephone call from staff at the Craven Arms waste management site on Long Lane.  Staff had found a box of shotgun cartridges and two bullets that an unknown member of the public had left at the site.  An Officer called to collect them and suitable arrangements were then made for their safe disposal.

If you have unwanted section 1 ammunition then there are various ways of legally disposing of it:

Surrender at your local police station
Through a registered firearms dealer
Through another authorised firearm certificate holder
You must NOT dispose of it yourself.
