Fire crews called to tractor fire in Pontesbury

Two tractors and a car were set alight

Fire crews spent the early hours of yesterday morning tackling a blaze in Shropshire.

Two tractors and a saloon car were found to be alight in Pontesbury at around half past 1.

They used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus.

It took around an hour to get the flames under control.

Fire Control received a call to say a member of the public had heard several explosions and could see flames in the vicinity.

The fire was of doubtful origin.
