West Midlands Police have found a large Cannabis farm operating in Wolverhampton city centre.
West Midlands Police received a call at around 10.30am on Thursday (8 August) that directed officers to the former Nationwide bank building in Queen Square, Wolverhampton city centre.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers discovered an extensive cannabis farm set-up at the disused building, over three floors and the basement, with around 200 plants in various stages of development plus a significant hydroponics set-up.
"Western Power were called to make the property safe as the electricity had been bypassed and wiring was in a dangerous condition."
Enquiries are now underway.
