Stourport fire station has closed as it merges into the Wyre Forest's new emergency services hub.
The site on Foundry Street has become the first to move into the new multi-million pound facility on Stourport Road.
They'll be joined by colleagues from Bewdley and Kidderminster stations, which are also set to close in the coming days.
Firefighters marked the closure yesterday, 24 hours after those at the Bewdley site commemorating their imminent relocation by inviting members of the public to watch their final drill.
Residents clapped and cheered as fire engine sirens were sounded.
The new site, which has cost more than £7.5 million, is already open.
