Police launch appeal for witnesses to fatal crash in Bridgnorth

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal collision near to Rudge Heath in Bridgnorth.

Police received reports at around 7.30 pm on Thursday (5 December) reports that a grey X Type Jaguar had collided with a pedestrian on the B4176.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, died at the scene.

His next of kin has been informed.

PC Tom Symonds from West Mercia Police said: “While investigations are ongoing, we are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have dash cam footage to please come forward."
