Woman's bag snatched from her in Telford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman had her bag snatched from her in Telford.

The theft happened between 11.30am and 12pm on Thursday 21 March in Telford Town Park.

The woman, aged 73, was approached by two youths who snatched her bag, a black leather handbag, from her.

One of the youths is described as 17 years old, thin build and wearing a black hoody with the hood pulled up and blue jeans.

The second youth is described as medium build and also wearing a black hoody with a pattern on the back and black jeans.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses.

It's believed the park was busy at the time of the theft and anyone who saw what happened is asked to get in contact with police.
