The Birmingham International Tattoo

In 2017, Britain’s biggest indoor international tattoo, with over 1,000 performers, returns to Arena Birmingham. Bringing together marching bands and exciting displays, world class performers will join local groups to create a three-hour spectacle for all the family, that culminates in a Grand Finale featuring all the performers.

For this year's spectacular Birmingham International Tattoo, marching bands have been announced from Poland, the Netherlands and across the United Kingdom.

Led by the Band of the Household Cavalry and the Band of The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, all the marching bands, plus the popular Massed Pipes and Drums and Highland Dancers, will demonstrate their musical skills both individually and as they combine for the spectacular Grand Finale.

Guest vocal soloist Captain Gary Chilton (from The Soldiers) will join The Queen’s Colour RAF Cosford and all the performers for the Spectacular Grand Finale.

Come and experience the pomp and pageantry that is the Birmingham International Tattoo.
